Yep, when we at Soundflat saw this band live at the Wild Weekend like some years ago... we totally went nuts! This band blew like everyone in the entire audience away with their super stylish & authentic 60's Beat sound, think pre-BEATLES british Beat & Rock'n Roll! Think THE SHADOWS!! But the difference to all that many bands that we've seen is, that THE RAPIERS really know how to play, how to penn the perfect Beat song! Don't understand me wrong, I love (and I always will) fuzztone guitars & primitive garage rumble...but listening to this perfect, twangy Beat...to these wonderful harmonies... makes me happy happy happy.
