Bad Afro is proud to present the latest signing to the Bad Afro rooster. Slideshaker are a trio from Kuopio in Finland who formed in 2000 and since then have released Singles on Legal Records and Weera and the debut album Hotwired Soul on DBS in 2003. Music wise we are talking about an ill-tempered mix of garage punk, fuzzy R&B, soul and country put together in an original fashion. Bones is the first single outtake from the upcoming album In The Raw due out January 30th 2006. It showcases why Finland is the place to look for if twisted and broken rock'n'roll is the game. The band recorded In The Raw themselves along with Pentti Dassum and the record is mixed by Juergen Hendlmeier (The Flaming Sideburns, Sweatmaster, Baby Woodrose etc.) in his studio in Helsinki.
