Informationen zum Artikel: Bad Afro is proud to present the first album on the label for the Copenhagen acid rockers On Trial. The band have existed for many years on the psychedelic outskirts of the Danish rock scene and we felt it was about time they got a Danish base after releases on American, German and UK labels. The album is called Forever and will be released May 8th. On Trial have in the past released five official albums as well as two double live albums and a collection of singles and EP's - among them the Higher 7' on Bad Afro from 2002. The band have over the years been concentrating on the music scene outside Denmark and have toured extensively in the US, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Holland, Belgium and Slovenia. They have played the Roskilde Festival twice in 1997 and 1999, Popkomm in 1997 (with the Hellacopters) and 2005 as well as a showcase at SXSW in Austin in 2000. Forever is in many ways a new start for On Trial. It's the first album since Blinded By The Sun from 2002 and at the same time the first album since Guf Lorenzen and Anders Skjodt left the band to form Baby Woodrose. It's also the first time newcomers Anders Stub on drums (ex-Mother Superior and The Royal Beat Conspiracy) and Bjarni Olsen on rhythm guitar have participated in the song writing. With 11 songs in 41 minutes Forever is shorter and more to the point that previous On Trial releases. They go through many moods and colours of psychedelic rock while transcending labels like 'stoner rock' or 'garage rock' and although the progression is obvious Forever is still very much On Trial.
