Phew!! I know, there is something in the water of holland! Well, lately we had MARK & THE SPIES with their killer debut album! And now we have THE MADD!!! Some of you know these 4 guys already from their fab Stardumb 7", and here is their debut longplayer. And, after listening to it once I'm more than impressed! This is like one of the tapes I made in the 80's with like my fave tracks from 60's comps!! And they were wellknown!! I could get girls with those (yes, those were the days)!!! And now we have THE MADD, that give us their fave tracks, a great mixture of garagepunkers, freakbeat & Sixties Pop! Just listen to their played with 120%perfection coverversions of "going all the way" (SQUIRES), "Her big man" (BRIGANDS), "Abba" (PARAGONS) or as a bonus a french killer version of MAGIC MUSHROOM'S "I'm gone"!!!! The CD comes in fold out digi cover, the LP in a luxurious fold out cover & with the CD included! Now, that I call a killer package!!
