After meanwhile four LP's, two split 7'es and one EP by SOUNDFLAT RECORDS the terrific COOL JERKS from Bremen, Germany submit their final masterpiece in the form of a 10'. If you talk about SOUNDFLAT RECORDS, this will always bear upon the COOL JERKS, the SOUNDFLAT RECORDS home band right from the first hour on. So it seems to be even more sad, that the 4 northerners from Bremen about their frontman A. Wolfinger, who is the frontman of the hip and hot Garage Pop Band THE TRASHMONKEYS too, now say goodbye. They bid farewell with this mini LP and a few successional selected concerts and afterwards going to pigeonhole (or bury) the COOL JERKS project. But the COOL JERKS wouldn't be the COOL JERKS, if they simply come to an end. No, when they leave, they will do it stylishly and bequeath a musical farewell present to their mass appeal. COOL JERKS - BUNKERPARTY 10' This 10' musically and in terms of the definition of sound leans on their first LP 'THIS IS IT', which is sold out on vinyl long ago. Although with this release the COOL JERKS spread their energy and dynamics as it could have been seen live again and again. Never ever before, the analogical recordings of the COOL JERKS have been so pounding, punchy and furious. With this mini album the hall will go wild with enthusiasm and no leg will stop shaking. Such a power and drive the boys have created by means of inviting several good friends into the Bunker-HQ studio and recording the 10' 'live' together with them. But don't be mistaken, this is not a live LP, this is only the realization of catching and pressing that mood on vinyl. Apart from that this mood could only be enjoyed at gigs. Here the party (which is a synonym for the COOL JERKS) is included, but not with a typical live sound; no, in best and most powerful fidelity. The particular quality of this method was already used before by such popular artists and bands like the HEADCOATS, JAMES BROWN with his LP LIVE AT THE APOLLO or GINO WASHINGTON with his RAM JAM BAND. So the COOL JERKS once more accomplished to set new tones. These eight 60's Garage Punk monster tracks, which are carried on the one hand through Erich's ingenious and partially unconventionally cool organ sound and on the other hand by the screeching guitar of Wolfinger, shine. The COOL JERKS fulfill their well-known performance with their polyphony and besides their talent in practising with structure in songwriting and harmony.
