The KIDNAPPERS started in their early teens as the HIGHSCHOOL ROCKERS some highly acclaimed 45s and with quitting school just changed names into the KIDNAPPERS. After the stunning debut 'Ransom Notes and Telephone Calls' they got hijacked onto legendary RIP OFF RECORDS with the 'Neon Signs' album. All KIDNAPPERS records received raving reviews and they found their spot between hot dogs and their 90's heros TEENGENERATE, LOLI & THE CHONES and classic STIFF RECORDS sound.
