Right on schedule for the SOUNDFLAT RECORDS BALLROOM BASH Vol. 4, the label's festival, which as usual takes place in Leipzig in McCormacks Ballroom, the same-titled Label-Sampler is released and offers 4 songs by each of the six performing bands. A varied compilation, which mirrors the SOUNDFLAT-Sound perfectly and rounded, and is not only a great memory of the festivla for every Ballroom-Basher, but also just perfect for every lover of the 60's sound. THE BANDS: THE TRASHMONKEYS - Attitudes & Stereo While reinventing from time to time, the monkeys' true core is defined by 60's garage rock'n'roll, so the Bremen natives are definitely at the right address at the Ballroom Bash. Unmistakable is the sound: a massive, swelling hammond organ, cutting 60s guitar and rock-steady rhythms. TUNA TACOS - Hot & spicy Spanish Beat Before splitting up about 3 years ago and continuing in Bands like The Imperial Surfers and Los Impossibiles legendary Spanish Beat Como TUNA TACOS gave their great final statement with a 4 track E.P. on SOUNDFLAT RECORDS. Now they come back one more time to arouse the Ballroom Bash with cool fuzz sounds, smart beats and a killer Vox organ. FUAD & THE FEZTONES - first time in Europe & exclusively in Germany!! LAS ASPIRADORAS - Going wild with raw garage punk from Spain! Directly from the heart of Spain comes this young, wild 5 piece, which started to conquer the r'n'r world with impetuous garage punk, which's scratchy Spanish vocals are it's special trade mark. After playing a bunch of international garage festivals 'The Suckers', whose debut LP comes out on Soundflat Records, will rock Germany's coolest weekender. LAS ASPIRADORAS play anything but innocent, well-behaved popsongs; these guys sound as if wild, hard Rock & Roll ran in their blood. LES KITSCHENETTE'S - Je danse donc je suis! One Mademoiselle and five Messieurs from Normandy bring back sound and spirit of the French 60's to life in an ingenious way. With easiness and certain intuition they bring us back to the era of Nino Ferrer, Brigitte Bardot, Serge Gainsbourg, Ronnie Bird and all the others. To make everyone dance is of course the mail goal.
