Paralleles start playing in 2007, initially formed by Carol Caliman on drums and vocals and Tatiana Sanson on keyboards and vocals. They both were coming from previous punk bands, such as Mercedes and Infect. They soon recruited Paula Villas on guitar and Andreia Crispim (FuzzFaces, Transistors) on bass and vocals. Influenced by groups such as Go-Go's, Marvelletes, Delmonas, Pandoras and 60s garage music, Paralleles started blending their favorite musical elements with sharp vocals and a punk approach.
