"Chewing out your rhythm on my bubblegum" Juliette Seizure & the Tremor-Dolls, from Adelaide, Australia, entered the ring in 2013 and have been searching Australian venues for the most generous rider ever since.
In November 2015 they released their debut four track 7-inch EP and since then have been playing pretty solidly in their home town as well as some interstate shows too, including RiverRocks festival and Scumfest. They earned a #11 position in the local radio top 101 releases for 2015 with their debut self-titled EP and have just about sold out of that record entirely. If you liked the EP, then get your stripy shirts and pink leather ready because their debut album "Chewing Out Your Rhythm On My Bubblegum" is twelve tracks which were recorded at the same time as the EP and have the same production!
Juliette Seizure & the Tremor-Dolls set out to be a blend of first wave punk and 60s girl-groups, taking the brattiness of the Zeros and the diabetes inducing sweetness of the Chiffons to make a mutant creation for fans of the Muffs, Nikki & the Corvettes, Tina & the Total Babes and anyone who likes their powerpop with a healthy dose of punk.
Tremor-Dolls have taken all of their favourite bits like distorted guitars, three-part harmonies, matching outfits, and backing singers with synchronized dance moves and combined these elements to inject a bit of fun and silliness into their live show as well as their recordings.
Throughout the album, Juliette references Ramones, Ronettes, Exploding Hearts, Screeching Weasel, Hellacopters, Muffs, and Nobunny so why not grab yourself a copy and go on a rock'n'roll treasure hunt to find them all? Vinyl manufactured under exclusive agreement by Dirtyflair Record Co. Limited to 200 copies!!
