Informationen zum Artikel: P. P. ARNOLD (Patricia Ann Cole) is an icon of the British MOD and Northern Soul scene. It all began in 1964 when she joined the Ike & Tina Turner Revue as an Ikette and found herself in swinging London at the height of the Mod/Psych boom. It was Mick Jagger who helped her score a recording contract with the fledgling Immediate record label and produced her duet with Rod Stewart on the storming Mod anthem "Come Home Baby". But it was her Top 20 hit "The First Cut Is The Deepest" that propelled her into the spotlight, a song written and sold to her for just \\'a330 by Cat Stevens! Club Soul are proud to showcase her 1967 Northern Soul classic "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" co-written by label owner Andrew Loog Oldham and the Steve Marriott / Ronnie Lane song "(If You Think You're) Groovy". Club Soul will present this official vinyl reissue on replica Immediate labels as a 7inch vinyl single, with new-to-vinyl double A-side coupling and cut pure analogue from the original Immediate Records master tapes.
