One of Australia's wildest live bands takes an unexpected detour. On "Truth Or Consequence", Amyl & The Sniffers strip down their high-octane punk anthems and reimagine them in a relaxed, country-tinged setting, recorded live with friends at the legendary El Coyote Mexican Restaurant in Los Angeles.

Rather than simply documenting a concert, the album offers fresh arrangements of fan favourites alongside two previously unreleased songs and a spirited cover of Slim Dusty's classic "Lights On The Hill". The familiar raw energy is still there, but it is channelled through acoustic textures, loose grooves and an intimate atmosphere that reveals a different side of the band's songwriting.
