And there's still more hiding in those bloody tea chests! Volume four of Western Star's "Rock'n'Roll Britannia" series heads back once again to Joe Meek's legendary Holloway Road studio for another batch of rare and previously unreleased British rock'n'roll from the early '60s.

Pulled from the extraordinary Tea Chest Tapes archive, these recordings capture the period when British musicians were taking American rock'n'roll, twisting it into their own peculiar shapes and creating something wonderfully raw in the process. And with Joe Meek behind the controls, even the more obscure names tend to come with that unmistakable atmosphere, punch and eccentricity.

Another cracking 10" dive into the seemingly bottomless Joe Meek vaults - obscure British rock'n'roll, genuine rarities and recordings that spent far too many decades sitting unheard in boxes!
