Punk rock classics played on Hammond organ and drums? Hell yes! Das Audio Combo take ten favourites from the golden age of punk and give them a wonderfully twisted instrumental makeover, swapping snarling vocals and screaming guitars for a mighty organ, pounding drums and a whole lot of raw rock'n'roll energy.

With Iggy & The Stooges, Johnny Thunders, The Damned and The Saints among the artists getting the treatment, "Hammond A Pogo!" is anything but your usual collection of polite instrumental cover versions. These guys mix their love of raw soul, gospel and vintage organ sounds with the reckless energy of the punk records they grew up with. And with the whole thing recorded directly to cassette tape, there's absolutely no danger of unnecessary studio polish getting in the way. Thank fuck for that!

Two instruments, ten punk rock favourites and a wonderfully primitive approach to making a racket. Somewhere between a sweaty '60s organ combo and a punk rock party gone completely off the rails. Turn it up and pogo!
