Apparently their return after a 25-year break wasn't enough, so Billy Childish, Bruce Brand and Johnny Johnson have knocked out another brand-new studio album. "Children of the sect" lands alongside Thee Headcoatees' "Ev'rybody's gonna be happy", giving you a double dose of Medway racket whether you bloody asked for it or not.

And thankfully nobody has suggested that growing older means growing up. We're still deep in that wonderfully primitive swamp where Bo Diddley beats, The Sonics' garage savagery and Ramones-style simplicity get bashed together until something breaks. Raw guitars, caveman rhythms and songs stripped of anything remotely unnecessary - exactly the sort of glorious noise Thee Headcoats have been making since day one. Heritage rock for people who'd rather smash the display case!
