The raw, primitive rhythm and blues sound of 'I Wanna Be Free' from 2017 has been left behind as the band explore another avenue of their musical arsenal, drawing inspiration it would seem from the Manchester sound of '77 and '78: Joy Division spring to mind on the A-side 'Falling': all throbbing base and riffs backed by a steady beat and pained vocals. Proving again what a talented, multi-musical combo they really are. Dance, dance, dance to the radio. The flip is, as you might expect from them, totally different - the West Coast meets fuzz on 'Nobody But You' sounds like a Stones riot.
