Heavy fuzz, screaming guitars and a serious dose of '70s psychedelic hard rock! Berlin's WEDGE have been flying the flag for loud, dirty and gloriously old-school rock'n'roll for years, and their killer second album "Killing Tongue", originally released in 2018, is finally getting another spin on vinyl!

These guys know exactly how to make a vintage fuzz pedal earn its keep. From the driving opener "Nuthin'" through "Lucid", "High Head Woman" and the mighty title track, WEDGE deliver a powerful mixture of heavy psychedelic rock, blues-soaked riffs, swirling organ sounds and plenty of raw garage attitude. Think late-'60s and early-'70s heavy rock with the amps turned up to eleven, somewhere between Blue Cheer, early Deep Purple and the heavier end of the psychedelic underground. No fashionable nonsense, just proper heavy rock'n'roll with a whole lot of fuzz!

Following the reissue of "Like No Tomorrow", Tonzonen Records now brings back "Killing Tongue" in a limited ink spot vinyl edition, giving this 2018 album another well-deserved chance to shake the walls. And with a brand-new WEDGE album announced for 2027, there's no better time to revisit this fuzzed-out beast!
