Originally released on cassette in January 2026, "Snakewards" brings Sharp Pins bassist Joe Glass out from behind the four-string and into the spotlight with sixteen short, sharp blasts of scrappy guitar pop and rock'n'roll.

This is deliberately rough around the edges - Telecaster guitars, fuzzy home-recorded energy and hooks appearing from every direction. The songs feel more like spontaneous sketches than carefully polished productions, but that's a big part of the appeal: underneath all the noise and looseness is an obvious instinct for melody and a seemingly endless supply of riffs.

Sixteen slices of charmingly ramshackle DIY rock'n'roll from another corner of the Sharp Pins universe - primitive, melodic and over before there's any danger of things becoming too tidy.
