Originally released in 1988, "Superfuzz Bigmuff" remains one of the key records to emerge from Seattle's underground rock scene and helped lay the foundations for what would later become known as grunge.
Combining the raw energy of punk rock, the fuzz-drenched attack of garage rock and a heavy dose of distorted rock'n'roll, Mudhoney created a sound that was loud, dirty and impossible to ignore. Tracks such as "Touch Me I'm Sick" and "Sweet Young Thing Ain't Sweet No More" quickly became underground classics, while the six songs on "Superfuzz Bigmuff" showcased a band firing on all cylinders.
More than three decades later, the record has lost none of its impact. The riffs are still massive, the attitude remains intact and the songs sound every bit as exciting as they did in 1988. A genuine underground rock classic and an essential record for fans of garage punk, grunge and fuzzed-out guitar rock.
