Minneapolis punk rock veteran CINDY LAWSON is back, and she's got a few things to get off her chest! A familiar face on the Twin Cities scene back in the 80s, when THE REPLACEMENTS and SOUL ASYLUM were making their own racket around town, Lawson eventually walked away from the music business after a bitter experience with the industry. But you can't keep a good punk rocker down forever! Now she's back with "Long Live The Resistance!", a four-track blast of angry, defiant garage punk on Rum Bar Records.

Leading the charge is "The Reckoning", a snarling tale of betrayal and getting even, complete with the rather excellent line "Karma's a bitch, but so am I!" And with titles like "Burn", "Eat The Rich" and "Howard Zinn Died For Your Sins", you can probably guess this isn't going to be an exercise in polite, middle-of-the-road rock'n'roll. Think old-school Minneapolis punk attitude, a healthy dose of garage rock grit and the kind of righteous fury that doesn't mellow with age.

Four songs of resistance, revenge and rock'n'roll from a woman who's been around long enough to know exactly what she's shouting about. Pressed on RED VINYL in the good old 10-inch format!
