Fuck the police, turn up the volume! Here's a genuine piece of Spanish punk rock history, brought back to life by Munster Records! Hailing from the Basque Country, ESKORBUTO were one of the most uncompromising, confrontational and downright notorious punk bands to emerge from Spain in the early '80s. While others aligned themselves with the so-called Rock Radical Vasco movement, these guys stubbornly went their own way, delivering raw, furious punk rock with absolutely no interest in playing by anybody else's rules.
Originally released in 1983, their debut single "Mucha Policía, Poca Diversión" became an underground punk classic, capturing the band's explosive early sound and rebellious attitude. This fantastic double 7" reissue brings together the complete original three-track single plus two additional recordings from the very same sessions, appearing on 7" vinyl for the first time! Five blasts of primitive, angry and gloriously unpolished punk rock from a band that really meant every bloody word.
A killer archival release for anyone into early Spanish punk, raw '77-style aggression and the genuine underground spirit of the early '80s. Essential ESKORBUTO!
