Five songs, one tiny slab of transparent vinyl and a healthy disregard for musical sophistication! Nantes' THE HICKEYS crash the party with a scrappy little five-track EP, operating somewhere in that wonderfully messy neighbourhood of garage punk, budget rock, glam and powerpop. Exactly the sort of underground racket that makes collecting seven-inch records so much fun!

With titles like "Hickeys", "Creepers", "Stinky", "Melancholie" and "Boogiewoogie", these French troublemakers certainly aren't wasting any time on grand artistic statements. Five original songs, all clocking in at under two minutes, with the whole thing over before most bands have finished tuning their guitars. Short, sharp and gloriously uncomplicated!

Released by Fish & Cheap Records in an extremely limited edition of just 50 copies on transparent vinyl. A neat little underground discovery for fans of trashy garage punk, budget rock and small-label obscurities. Don't hang around!
