The Boys from London formed in 1976 and were one of the first punk bands. In the first active phase from 1976 to 1981, the band released four albums, including "Alternative Chartbusters", which included the hit "Brickfield Nights". Due to increased demand in the following years, the band decided to return from retirement in 1999 and continue to play concerts around the world to this day. The last album "Punk Rock Menopause" was released in 2014. "Power Cut" was recorded in London in 1996. Coincidentally, Campino, singer of the German rock band Die Toten Hosen, was staying in London at the same time and was spontaneously invited to the studio session. As a result, he took over lead vocals on all songs. Now the album is being re-released on colored vinyl 26 years after its release. Limited to 180 gram colored vinyl in a gatefold cover with liner notes by Campino and singer & guitarist Matt Dangerfield.
