Somewhere between dreamy indie pop, swirling shoegaze and hypnotic krautrock, Augsburg's THE BV'S have carved out their own little corner of the underground! Formed in 2016 when Fred from Germany met Josh during a rainy English winter in Cornwall, the band started recording demos for fun, eventually turning them into their 2017 debut album "Speaking From A Distance". What followed was a string of releases on labels including KLEINE UNTERGRUND SCHALLPLATTEN, CLOUDBERRY RECORDS and MELOTRON RECORDINGS, along with plenty of touring across Europe and the UK.

Now THE BV'S return with "Periphery", their fourth full-length album, following 2024's "Taking Pictures Of Taking Pictures". Their music moves between bittersweet melodies, shimmering guitar textures, looping rhythms and the more hypnotic side of indie rock. Rather than sticking to straightforward guitar pop, the band explores the blurred edges where shoegaze, indie pop and krautrock meet.

Released on PAULA PAUL PLATTEN, "Periphery" is one to investigate for listeners who enjoy atmospheric, slightly experimental guitar music without losing sight of a good melody.
