Straight outta Madrid comes a band that has found its own name for the kind of rock'n'roll it loves: PUB-TEX-PUNK! DEL TORNADOS mix the sweaty pub rock of DR. FEELGOOD with the rootsy punch of THE BLASTERS, a dash of 77 punk attitude and a healthy helping of Tex-Mex flavour. Their album "Amores Comunes, Lugares Propios", released on Ghost Highway Records, brings together experienced musicians from the Spanish underground scene who clearly haven't forgotten what a good rock'n'roll song is supposed to do!

Think driving guitars, tight rhythms, catchy hooks and that unmistakable bar-band spirit where nobody's trying to reinvent the wheel, just make the damn thing roll a little faster! There's room for the Americana influences of THE LONG RYDERS and J.J. CALE alongside the tougher, streetwise sound of Spanish rockers like LOS DELTONOS and LOS ENEMIGOS. A combination that promises plenty of grit, melody and good old-fashioned rock'n'roll attitude.

No unnecessary studio trickery, no fashionable nonsense, just honest guitar-driven music with its boots firmly planted in pub rock, punk and roots rock territory. If your idea of a good night out involves a loud band, a small club and a few cold beers, DEL TORNADOS might be right up your street!
