English Subtitles was a UK punk band (with arty post-punk leanings) that released a few EP's and an album during the years 1979-1982. In 1978-'79 the band spent some time making low budget recordings, which caught the attention of Small Wonder Records and led to the debut 7-inch. Those recordings (from the Subtitles' first two sessions) are now available on this vinyl collection!
