Cardiff's FAMILY BATTENBERG are here to put a bit of glitter, fuzz and good old-fashioned stupidity back into rock'n'roll! Their Stolen Body Records debut "Super Deluxe" delivers ten tracks of scruffy 70s-inspired glam rock, stomping garage punk and bubblegum pop, all with the amps turned up and the fancy manners left at home. Think MARC BOLAN getting into a drunken argument with JACK WHITE over the last bottle of cheap beer!

The wonderfully titled "Bed Bug" is a two-minute-and-fifty-one-second hip-shaker, while songs like "Fuzzy Features", "Silver Doggy", "I Wanna Be Your Bitch" and "Leatherguy" suggest these Welsh troublemakers aren't exactly aiming for sophistication. Having already caused a racket at SXSW and The Great Escape, the four-piece bring their rough-and-ready live energy to a record that promises plenty of crunchy guitars, swaggering rhythms and ridiculously catchy hooks.

Ten tracks of fuzzed-up glam-punk entertainment from a band that clearly understands rock'n'roll should be fun, loud and just a little bit ridiculous. For fans of greasy 70s glam, primitive garage rock and the kind of bubblegum punk that gets your feet moving before your brain has a chance to object!
