Originally released in 1991, the self-titled debut by Vitoria-Gasteiz outfit Soziedad Alkoholika hit with a particularly nasty collision of hardcore punk and metal - fast, heavy, confrontational and miles away from anything polite.

The album quickly spread far beyond its initial underground audience and became a key record for a generation of Spanish hardcore and metal fans. Its combination of sheer aggression, metallic riffing and politically charged lyrics helped establish the sound Soziedad Alkoholika would pursue for decades afterwards.

The original pressing disappeared quickly and the album has remained out of print ever since. Munster now brings it back for its first-ever reissue, complete with liner notes. A proper piece of Spanish hardcore history!
