"Why Not?" is the fourth anthematic album by these Soul afficionados from Hamburg. While some of the band members are well known for their impressive collections of Northern Soul singles, they realized their artistic limitations early on. So while there was always a certain Soul influence (and even some covers of vintage Soul tracks) on their albums, they were always combining it a Sixties Beat sound and raw, Punk-sounding vocals and class-conscious lyrics.
