We continue on Brazilian soil with our twelfth release.
Like our previous protagonist, Eduardo Araujo was part of the movement surrounding the television program "Jovem Guarda," which eventually gave its name to a national movement of artists influenced by the British Invasion and broadcast to Brazilian youth.
Hailing from Minas Gerais, he made his way onto the music scene in 1958, becoming known as "O rei do rock de Minas" (The King of Rock from Minas) until he released his cult album "O Bom" (The Good) in 1966, launching his career to this day. However, for lovers of hidden gems, his hit will always be "Nem Sim, Nem Não" (Nem Sim, Nem Não).
On the B-side, Glandula joins us with their powerful Spanish version of the same song, "Ni Sí, Ni No" (Nei Si, Ni No). A band led by Alberto Charro (Alberto Botias Arnau), founder and leader of Los Malinches, in which he leaves aside the psychedelic rhythms to bring us the sound of the "new wave" that floated through clubs and radio stations in Latin America in the late 1960s..
