Bloody hell, here's a real treat for fans of proper, no-nonsense British garage rock'n'roll! The Masonics, featuring Mick Hampshire (The Milkshakes), Bruce Brand (The Pop Rivets, The Milkshakes, Thee Headcoats) and legendary Toe Rag Studio mastermind Liam Watson, finally get their earliest and long-deleted recordings collected on one glorious LP! "Masonry: 1994-1997" brings together those incredibly scarce '90s EPs, capturing the band at their rawest, wildest and most wonderfully primitive.

Fifteen tracks of rough-as-hell garage R&B, trashy rock'n'roll and stripped-down British beat, recorded with that unmistakable early Toe Rag sound. Mick Hampshire's terrific songwriting dominates the proceedings, with killers like "Empty Shell Of A Man", "You Just Don't Care", "She Cut Me To The Bone" and "Mumbo Jumbo". There's also their dancefloor-friendly version of "Ooh-Poo-Pa-Doo", originally featured on a rare 2003 Sympathy For The Record Industry compilation, plus "Never So Sad", featuring the first solo recording by none other than Thee Headcoatees legend Ludella Black!

Lovingly assembled by Wonderlamp Records from the original session sources, this essential collection comes on 140g vinyl in a special inside-out sleeve, complete with a fantastic 12-page full-colour booklet packed with rare and previously unpublished photographs, liner notes and a glimpse into the mysterious world of The Masonics. Absolutely essential for Milkshakes, Headcoats, Toe Rag and genuine garage rock'n'roll freaks!
