After Keb Darge (U.K.) and El Vidocq (Fr), this is The Freiburg-based (Ger) DeeJay BUDDY BELPASO who is in charge for the new Rocka Rolla's selection. We discovered his musical sensitivity and the subtlety of his choices with « Ohanna Hawaiiana » vol1 and vol2, and we knew he has been arranging and organising the venue « Forbidden Bongo Bar » for years with this description: « 60s & 50s Slow Grind Fever, exotic Rock 'n Roll, Garage, Shake & Soul for all downright sinners, desperate shakers, mindless lovers, Rockers, Rollers Twisters & Swingers ».

Here now, on this compilation you can finally find a musical reflection of those weird wild nights, gathered on this fantastic vinyl compilation.

Starting with the striving drumbeat of "The Beatle" from THE BUDDIES, through the midtempo and still unique "The Squeezer" by BIG BOB DOUGHERTY, the deep hypnotic "Rat Race" by THE DRIFTERS, finishing with a unique cover-version of "Dream Baby" by the LADDINS, best known from the first recorded version from Roy Orbison. All in all - a perfect compilation for wild vivid party night.
