Here's a seriously obscure little monster from the depths of Mexico's 1970s underground! El Eclypse Records dig up four extraordinary recordings by Edorfe Y Su Conjunto, a wonderfully eccentric outfit from Irapuato, Guanajuato, whose original LPs appeared in tiny quantities on obscure regional labels and have since become virtually impossible to find.

Forget your usual Latin dance record - this is a gloriously strange mixture of psychedelic Latin-funk, cosmic electronics, raw rhythms and heavy, hypnotic grooves. Funky as hell, occasionally completely off the rails and full of the sort of weird sounds that make you wonder what on earth was going on in those Mexican recording studios back in the '70s. Exactly the kind of lost musical madness that deserves to be heard again!

Part of Discos Discode lic's El Eclypse series, this four-track 7" has been almost five years in the making and was produced with Edorfe's full cooperation and approval. Four rare vintage recordings rescued from obscurity and finally available on a handy little single. Wild stuff!
