Melbourne's Blowers are back to make another bloody mess! "Blozone Layer" is album number four from the Australian garage punk wrecking crew, following 2025's "Blowmania", and absolutely nothing suggests they've discovered good manners in the meantime.

This is exactly the kind of primitive, blown-out rock'n'roll these guys do best: buzzsaw guitars, pounding rhythms, three voices fighting for space and songs with titles like "Throwing Up On You", "Choked On Puke" and "Woke Up At The Pub Again". Think The Spits, Reatards and Oblivians crashing headfirst into Cosmic Psychos and Ramones, with enough Australian dirt and stupidity thrown in to make the whole thing wonderfully unhealthy.

Engineered and mixed by Julian Cue and mastered by Mikey Young, "Blozone Layer" is another collection of end-of-the-world garage punk party anthems from a band that clearly has no intention of cleaning up its act. This edition comes on blue vinyl courtesy of Chaputa Records. Let's go, let's blow!
