In this compilation you will find some of the most interesting young bands from Bolivia in the 1960s who brought the sounds of a new generation and combined them with the rich musical background of the country. the garage-sounding psychedelic rhythms created by these young musicians would soon open up new horizons; and Bolivia would soon see how the traditional sounds, such as their local version of cumbia, would evolve in a similar way as it would in neighbouring peru.
