Forget the polished "alternative" scene or ridiculous mohawk costumes. This is the raw truth of the early Parisian underground. The Guilty Razors were part of the tiny circle that understood the score back in 1976: rock 'n' roll had to be dangerous, primitive, and socially explosive again.

Fueled by The Stooges , Velvet Underground , and the first UK imports from the Pistols and The Clash , brothers José and Carlos Perez teamed up with frontman Tristam Nada to form a band that refused to play by the rules. Moving between the posh 16th arrondissement, street fights with far-right thugs, and sweaty nights at the legendary Gibus club, they forged a sound defined by boredom, rebellion, and pure energy.

Their music was a mix of short, fast bursts and gritty demos with lyrics spitting class warfare and defiance. From the influence of the Buzzcocks to 50s garage vibes, they were the real deal in a country still dominated by stale mainstream pop. Despite opening for The Jam and surviving brawls with hostile greasers, their time was short. Their 1978 single "I Don't Wanna Be Rich" became a lost gem, with most copies pulped after they caused one too many rucks in the label's offices.

This release finally brings together their unreleased tracks and rare demos-including the freezing Madrid sessions-capturing a moment when "No Future" was a lived reality. No fakes, no posers. Just authentic, snarling punk history for those who crave the genuine article.
