Loose Lips are one of those bands where the pedigree alone should make you pay attention: Josh Hardy from The Chats on guitar, former Chubby & The Gang man Ethan Stahl on bass and The Prize's Nadine Muller behind the drums. But forget the CV for a minute - this Melbourne trio simply writes ridiculously good punk rock songs!

"Love You" packs four absolute belters into one 7", mixing the primitive crunch of '60s garage with Ramones-style punk, classic girl-group pop and that unmistakable Australian rock'n'roll swagger. "Beehive" comes flying out of the speakers at full speed, while "Looking For" and "Remember We Love You" pile hooks on top of wiry guitars and a seriously tough rhythm section. Then Nadine takes the lead on "Tired Of Toein' The Line", finishing the whole damn thing with another glorious slice of punky power pop.

Think Ramones, The Saints, New York Dolls and The Scientists crashing into The Shangri-Las and The Shirelles. Four songs, barely ten minutes and not a second wasted. Bloody great!
