Back into Joe Meek's legendary Holloway Road studio we go! The third volume of Western Star's "Rock'n'Roll Britannia" series digs once again into the extraordinary Tea Chest Tapes, uncovering another batch of British rock'n'roll recorded at Meek's studio in the early '60s.

Expect obscure and previously unreleased material from the days when British rock'n'roll was still raw, exciting and a little bit dangerous, all rescued from tapes that spent decades hidden away. And whatever Joe Meek pointed his microphones at, you can be pretty damn sure it wasn't going to sound boring!

Another fascinating 10" collection for anyone with a weakness for early British rock'n'roll, Joe Meek and the seemingly bottomless treasure chest of recordings left behind at 304 Holloway Road.
