Recorded at Amsterdam's Het Zonnehuis in 2014, this "2 Meter Sessions" set catches Glasgow's The Amazing Snakeheads doing what they did best - sounding dangerous as fuck! Stripped of any unnecessary studio polish, their collision of garage rock, blues-punk and post-punk comes across raw, tense and seriously confrontational.

Dale Barclay's snarling vocals sit over a pounding rhythm section and nasty, jagged guitars, with the intimate session setting only making the whole thing feel more volatile. There's blues in there, plenty of garage dirt and the sort of dark, sweaty rock'n'roll menace that sounds as though everything could go horribly wrong at any moment. Considering how short-lived The Amazing Snakeheads were, recordings like this are a bloody welcome reminder of just how ferocious they could be.
