Here's a fresh little blast of British beat and rhythm & blues! THE FORTY FOURS are a three-piece outfit with roots in Cornwall and London, taking their inspiration from the early British Invasion, Merseybeat and raw 60s R&B. Featuring OLIVER HARRISS on guitar and vocals, JASON BAZELEY on bass and vocals and ANDY STANDER on drums and vocals, these guys are keeping the beat-group tradition alive with their own original material!

Their debut 7" on Blow Up Records features the catchy, harmony-driven "Now She's Gone" on the A-side, backed with "Baby, Please Don't Go". A fine-looking little platter for fans of early British beat, rhythm & blues and no-nonsense 60s-style rock'n'roll!
