Blue Moon Marquee is a Canadian gipsy blues duo that is influenced by the most primitive blues, traditional folk music at its rawest, swing and ragtime. A.W. Cardinal, also of the ethnic group Metis De Cree, howls with a powerful voice and plays guitar influenced by both blues and jazz. Jasmine Colette, also known as Badlands Jazz, is the one-man rhythm section that not only plays the double bass, but also takes care of percussion duties with the feet.
