Yeah, the COOL JERKS are back with the probably best 60s-style Dance-LP of the year!!! After the giant success of the 2003 entirely in German recorded LP 'WIR BEATEN MEHR' (in English 'WE BEAT MORE') the Soundflat-home(boy)band went back to their German language roots after their last 'INTERNATIONAL'-L'P and sang on the terrific, new album 'AUS DEM WEG!' (in English 'GET ALONG WITH YOU!') again completely in German. This time indeed fairly in the sign of cover versions of popular and less popular 60s-classics, mixed up with self-composed, new tracks. Beside 4 self-composed 60s-Beat/Garage-Hits the 4 northern lights from Bremen cover everything which is necessary, everything which was of distinction in the 60s: ERIC BURDON & THE ANIMALS, BEATLES, THE WHO, KINKS, EASYBEATS, icons of Soul like the CAPITOLS und DON GARDNER. (here again a heartly welcome to Erich, who polishes the COOL JERKS with his organ, what was already to hear on their last album) However apart from the classics there are also covers in German: 'I'M CRYING', 'SITTIN' ON MY SOFA', 'RUN, RUN, RUN', 'IF YOU'VE GOT TROUBLES' 'COOL JERK', 'MY BABY LIKES TO BOOGALOO' and 'SORRY' a German version (ASTRONAUT) of 'JERK IT OUT' from the CAESARS!
