The second release on the joint ROVR and Ace Records label pairs two outstanding garage punk dancefloor favourites from 1967.

On the A-side, The Early Rationals take The Kinks' "I Need You" and transform it into something altogether wilder. Retaining the power of the original while adding a tougher edge, fuzzed-out guitars and relentless energy, the result is a garage punk stormer that has become a favourite with DJs and collectors alike.

The flip side features Tormentors' "She's Gone", a darker and more atmospheric affair. Combining driving rhythm, haunting vocals and a memorable chorus, it balances dancefloor appeal with a distinctive sense of tension and mystery. Long overshadowed by more familiar garage classics, the track has recently begun finding the wider audience it deserves.
