In 1983 he started as a one man band, for this album he hired the Un-Believers (Gery Mohr and Robert Butler of the Miracle workers, Janosh of the Monsters and Gringo Starr who also playd for the Never Heard Of'Ems, Lightning Beat-Mans backing band.) and went to London's famous Toe Rag Studio, together with Liam Watson (Bristols, Masonics, Headoats_) to get that special swamp blues sound on the record.
