Formed in 1998, the band Transistors emerged with a bold proposal: to recapture the raw energy of garage rock and psychedelia from the 60s. The first album, recorded on 4-track tape in a garage and released by Ordinary Records, already pointed to the group's creative force. But it was the second album, recorded in a professional studio and with a new lineup, that consolidated the band's name. With Ulisses Nogueira (guitar), Andreia Crispim (bass) and William Rock (organ) alongside Al Zioli, the main composer and vocalist, Transistors created anthems like Algo Errado and Submundo. Songs in Portuguese, full of fuzz, echoes and attitude, that marked a generation and became a reference for the underground scene.
