Viv & The Sect is a garage rock band from Mexico City blending the raw energy of 1960s garage, rhythm & blues, and psychedelic rock with a modern underground edge. Formed in 2012, the group quickly became part of Mexico's thriving garage revival, known for their high-energy performances, vintage sound, and gritty, organ-driven arrangements.

Their debut album This Will Pass (2016), released through Get Hip Recordings, introduced their gritty guitars, driving rhythms, and dark melodic style to an international audience. It was followed by II, their second album released in 2025, further expanding their blend of classic garage rock attitude and contemporary Latin American rock energy.

With a growing catalogue of releases and a reputation for electrifying live shows, Viv & The Sect continue to expand their presence across the global garage rock community with this first single on Rogue Records.
