It is nearly three years since THE PIKES released their debut EP, but now they are finally back with a new album. THE PIKES pay again tribute to the true mod revival sound of the late 70's/ early 80's, featuring some 60's influences to a Mod-Punk sound. 'Something's going on' is fast and wild. The secret? A perfect harmony of pop hooks and catchy background vocals, put together with blazing guitar riffs, a vibrant bass and forceful drums. Staying real to the good old days they returned to the fully analogue Schaltraum Studio of Berlin and recorded the songs on dark brown Tascam tape.
