The Young Fresh Fellows have had a love affair with Spain for more than three decades, so sooner or later they bloody well had to make an entire album about it! "Bocetos De España" - with a knowing nod to Miles Davis' "Sketches Of Spain" - collects twelve brand-new songs inspired by countless Spanish tours, clubs, bars, vans, friends and assorted adventures accumulated since the good old rock'n'roll '90s.

Some of the ideas had apparently been scribbled into notebooks while touring Spain as far back as 2013, before Scott McCaughey, Jim Sangster, Kurt Bloch and new drummer John Perrin finally headed into Seattle's Crackle & Pop studio in April 2026 to knock the whole thing into shape. And this is unmistakably Young Fresh Fellows: scruffy power pop, garage rock'n'roll, punky guitars, great melodies and plenty of their trademark humour. "The Basque Stallion" even comes served Dictators-style, while Madrid, Barcelona, Euskadi, Valencia and Burgos all get dragged into the Fellows' peculiar musical travelogue.

Released exclusively by Madrid's FOLC Records and including an insert with all the lyrics. Twelve songs that basically amount to one big, loud and wonderfully daft Young Fresh Fellows love letter to Spain. Great idea - and a damn fine record!
