The debut vinyl statement from this New York City garage psych outfit recalls the best of 1965-'69 psychedelic rock from the UK, Southern California, and beyond. Close your eyes and you can almost imagine this emanating from a pirate radio ship in 1965, or Bido Lido's in '66, or the UFO club in '67... But you haven't heard this one before. For this is not an attempt to recreate 1966 in a time capsule preserved in amber, nor is it yet another iteration of two-chord garage punk or flower child cosplay. I've Heard That One Before is a frenetic, pounding raver with a fuzz guitar rib and a jaded, knowing lyric. On the B side, Everything Will Be Revealed starts ob as a Kink-y 12-string garage jangler before taking ob into unknown territory, somewhere between the Vale of Kashmir and Beyond the Valley of the Dolls. These songs came together with the help of Matt Clarke (Elevator Operators, The Above), and producer/engineer Mitch Rackin (Heavy Hands, Seaside Lounge, Deep Dive Studios). Ramon Nogueira plays drums, and Jodie Hayford (Fabulous Roman Candles) plays keyboards.
