BACK IN SOME COPIES!!!! Japanese 60s-Beat-Kings THE NEATBEATS have a brand new EP out on SOUNDFLAT RECORDS (in cooperation with MAJESTIC SOUND RECORDS). And as always, you can expect some fine, authentic mid-sixties-Merseybeat with a Japanese touch from these boys. The EP consists of four amazing songs to twist and shout to - two Neatbeats-originals and two fabulous coversongs. The title song 'Tomorrow Should Not Come' is a cool, slightly dramatic sounding NEATBEATS-original with Japanese lyrics - with a catchy beat and a beautiful melody it gets to you right away. The second one is a coverversion of 'Yakety Yak' (original by THE COASTERS), which is a great interpretation of the fun classic. The B-side starts off with an own composition again: 'All Night Twist', a danceable twister with Japanese lyrics. Finally, with 'This Empty Place' THE NEATBEATS include a coverversion of DIONNE WARWICK's dreamy ballad with beautiful harmonies, that is strongly influenced by THE SEARCHERS' version of the song. Altogether this 45 has a fantastic, authentic sound - a great selection of songs that represents what THE NEATBEATS are all about. A must-have from these wild Merseybeatsters!
