Los Angeles brothers Tommy (aka Buster) and Eddie Williams recorded only a handful of releases as a duo, but "Can't Be Still" became their most enduring legacy.

Although overlooked upon its original release, the song found a new audience in the mid-1970s when it became a favourite at the legendary Wigan Casino. Its popularity on the Northern Soul scene grew so rapidly that it was reissued using the original stampers to satisfy demand. Today, "Can't Be Still" is regarded as a genuine Northern Soul classic from the genre's golden era.

The flip side, "There I Was", leans more towards uptempo harmony pop than straight soul. Nevertheless, its catchy melody and strong vocal performance have earned it a loyal following among collectors, making this an outstanding two-sider and an essential record for fans of classic Northern Soul and 60s vocal group sounds.
